A glean Coleman , 82, departed this life on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at West Palm Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was born on August 29, 1933 in Blackville, South Carolina (delivered by a midwife) to the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmore and Luemisher Coleman.

At an early age, Aglean joined and was baptized at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Lees, South Carolina.

She attended school at Macedonia School in Blackville. After high school, Aglean moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she worked as a cook and as a domestic worker for many years. Upon retirement, she moved to West Palm Beach, Florida.

"Mutt," as she was so lovingly known by family and friends, was preceded in death by her oldest and only daughter, Bertha Coleman-Corbitt, one brother, Zellie Coleman and Sister, Luemisher Allen.

She leaves to cherish her memories — two sons: John Minus of West Palm Beach, FL and Fredrick Rebenson (Sylvia) of Durham, NC; two sisters: Rose Crawford (Jimmy) of West Palm Beach, FL and Mozell Harley (McKinley) of Aiken, SC; two brothers: Preston Coleman (Barbara) of Blackville, SC and Gary Hicks (Gladys) of Salley, SC; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Coleman of Denmark, SC; one uncle, Willie James of Barnwell, SC; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
