Ms. Albertha Williams, daughter of the late Willie and Willie Mae Williams was born on November 18, 1957 in Barnwell County, South Carolina.  She was the fourth of nine siblings.  On November 6, 2021, Albertha entered into eternal rest.

Albertha was baptized at an early age at Shrub Branch Baptist Church, Blackville, South Carolina.  Albertha received her education in Blackville School District and she graduated from Blackville- Hilda High School Class of 1975.

Albertha retired as a correctional officer for Allendale Correctional Institution.

Albertha was preceded in death by one brother, Willie James Williams.

Albertha leaves to cherish her memories one son, Devere Williams of Orangeburg, SC; two daughters, Kawanna Williams of Blackville, SC and Shayna Williams of Columbia, SC; five grandsons, Dezman Williams, Omarion Prophet, Tyler Prophet, Ja'Quahvis James, Jermaine Jamison; two granddaughters, Da'shana Williams and Destiny Williams; five sisters, Ethel (Jerry) Berry of Columbia, SC, Pearlene Lee, Evelyn Thomas, Rita (Ronnie) Pernell all of Blackville, SC and Clarisa Anderson of Lynn, MA; four brothers, Sammie Lee (Cherlyn) Williams and Elliott Williams of Blackville, SC, Jerry Williams of Detroit, MI and Cordova (Janet) Williams of Brooklyn, NY; one aunt, Willie Dell Toole of Blackville, SC; a devoted special friend, Mr. Gerald Augustus; an adopted sister, Queenie Byas of Blackville, SC and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
