Funeral services for the late Alexis B. Murray will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Cope, South Carolina.  Interment services will follow immediately at the church cemetery. Viewing for the public will be held on Friday from 12:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Set off in flight into the arms of our Heavenly Father, leaving the sorrows of this world to a Heavenly home of joy.

Alexis affectionately known as "Lexie", was born October 04, 1995 in Charleston, South Carolina. This 4 week old bundle of joy made her first visit to Orangeburg with those big beautiful eyes looking up at us wrapped in a blanket looking straight at us making a statement "I'm Here "and from that day on, she has been a joy to everyone.

Alexis enjoyed life, even though there were obstacles that made her way rough at times, she did not let that stop her. She touched a lot of lives in her 23 years.

Lexie attended schools in Goose Creek, South Carolina and Orangeburg, South Carolina.

She graduated from Edisto, High School, Cordova. South Carolina. She attended Benedict College located in  Columbia, South Carolina and was presently enrolled at Strayer University.

Alexis was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to bible study, always wanting to learn more about our Savior and remained full of questions to get a greater understanding and closer relationship with our Savoir Jesus Christ.

Alexis is preceded in death by her grandmother, Sharron Grandison.
