Mr. Allen "Aldie" Powell, Jr. was born on December 9, 1947, to the late Aldie Powell and Inell W. Powell in Blackville, SC. He died at his home on March 3, 2025.

He attended the Blackville Public Schools. Early in life he was baptized at Ebenezer Baptist Church and also attended Shrub Branch Baptist Church.

Aldie was employed with Felder and Son Construction Company and Custom Home Improvements (Clarence E. Felder, Sr., LLC) until his retirement.

Aldie enjoyed listening to his record collection, watching TV and spending time with his friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Leanard and Johnny.

Big Boy, as he was affectionately known leaves to cherish his memory: one brother, Walter Powell; a special cousin, Clarence Felder and a host of cousins and friends.
