Mr. Alonzo Edward Johnson age 71, was born on October 14,1950 in Williston, SC to Matt and Lucia Mae Johnson.

He graduated from Kelly Edwards High School. He worked at Dayco of Williston for many years and retired Dixie-Narco. Early in life, he joined Culbert Branch Baptist Church in Williston SC.

Alonzo was married to Cleareather Myers in 1978 and was married until she passed away.

He was preceded in death by his wife Cleareather Johnson; his daughter, Melissa Jenkins; his parents, Matt and Lucia Mae Johnson his grandparents and his brother Clarence Johnson.

Alonzo leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters Sheila (Mack) Williams and Tina Felder of Aiken, SC; a son, Reverend Lester (Denesia) Myers of Williamsburg VA; a son in law, Willie Jenkins Sr. of Aiken, SC; his brother, James Johnson of Williston, SC; a very special cousin/sister, Sharon Carter of Williston, SC; grandkids, Trevin Myers, Avonte' Williams, Shontayla Williams, Willie Jenkins Jr., Dashonda Jenkins Tevin Jenkins, Gerald Jenkins, Precious Myers, Jacoby Myers, Rachael Myers, Joshua Myers, Shakemia Landy, Tiandra Dunbar and Joniaya Felder; thirteen great granddaughters and 1 great grandson.
