Angela Denise Dash, 74 passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025 at MUSC Health Orangeburg.  Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and community.  A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Orangeburg, SC followed by interment services at Belleville Memorial Gardens, Orangeburg, SC.

Angela was the only daughter of the late Leon M. Dash Sr. and Ida M. Dash.  She received her elementary education at Christ the King Catholic School and graduated from Wilkinson High School in 1968.  She continued her education at South Carolina State college, earning a BA in Elementary Education in 1972.  Her teaching career began at Bluffton Elementary School in Bluffton, SC and concluded at Holly Hill Elementary School in Orangeburg County.  In retirement, Angela dedicated herself to caring for her family, with special devotion to her grand-nephew, Jackson A. Murry, who lived with her.  She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and deeply valued her connection to this faith community.

Angela is survived by her brothers, Michael G. (Kobkoon) Dash and Ronald B.  (Kim) Dash; her aunt, Gladys L. Thomas; nieces, Vynique Dash, Krystal Lynch and Jessica Dash; nephews, Michael G. Dash Jr. and Ronald B. Dash Jr.; and numerous close cousins, grands, and great grands. Angela's loving spirit will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
