Mrs. Anilizer "Mutt" Whetstone, daughter of the late Issac Green Sr. and Lizzie Mae Nimmons Green was born on March 21, 1929 in Bamberg County, South Carolina. On September 29th at 1:45am, God called her into eternal rest.

As young child, Anilizer received her spiritual guidance at Honey Ford Baptist Church, where she faithfully attended until her health began to decline.

Anilizer received her education at Middle Place School in Govan, South Carolina. She also attended Denmark Area Trade School, now known as Denmark Technical College where she became a certified cosmetologist in the late 1940's.

In February 1948, Anilizer was joined in holy matrimony to Lonnie Whetstone Sr. To this union three beautiful children were born.

Anilizer was an independent and strong but yet soft spoken woman who loved her family and others she was acquainted with. She enjoyed cooking for both her family as well as her community. She was a very fashionable woman that enjoyed socializing with friends and family on a regular basis. Anilizer loved to laugh and enjoyed seeing others laugh. After having been in her presence for any amount of time, you were guaranteed to walk away with a smile.

Anilizer is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Whetstone Sr.; her parents, Issac Sr. and Lizzie Mae Green; brothers, George W. Green, Issac Green Jr. (Junior) and sisters, Zella Mae Brown( Zell) and Elizabeth Green (Mammy).

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Lonnie (Paula) Whetstone of Columbia, SC , Roosevelt Whetstone of Denmark, SC;  one daughter, Betty (Hayward Jr.) Garvin of Neeses, SC; one sister, Evelyn Moncrieft of Philadelphia, PA; three brothers, Jeremiah Green Charleston, SC, Albert Green of Orangeburg, SC and O'nathan Green Columbia, SC, eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; fourteen great- great grandchildren; two sisters -in- law, Elise Green of Denmark, SC and Olivia Whetstone of Steubenville, OH and a host of other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
