Mrs. Ann Franklin was born on October 22, 1941 to the late Henry Murdaugh and the late Bessie Clark Murdaugh in Marianna, Florida.  She departed this life on February 14, 2022 at Brookdale University Hospital, Brooklyn, New York

Ann was educated in Bamberg County public schools.  She was also a member of McCune Branch Baptist Church in Lodge, South Carolina.  Ann later moved to Brooklyn, New York where she resided until her untimely death.

Ann is preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters and the love of her life, Jake Franklin, as well as a stepson, Kevin Branch.

Ann leaves to cherish her memories, stepsons, Jeffrey Branch Franklin, Frederick Franklin and Jake Franklin III; one sister-in-law, Lucretia Gilbert Smith; one niece who she claimed as her daughter, Barbara Key and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
