Funeral services for Mrs. Annette Broxton will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Central Baptist Church in Denmark, SC. Interment services will follow immediately at Denmark Community Cemetery, Denmark, SC. Viewing for the public will be held on Saturday from 12:00 noon-8:00 pm at the funeral home.


Mrs. Annette Broxton departed this life on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. The Lord called her home to be with Him. Annette was born on November 27, 1958 in Crescent City, Florida to the late Willie Mack Adams and Ellen Thomas.

She was educated in the Bamberg County Public School System in Bamberg, South Carolina and earned her CNA License at Denmark Technical College in Denmark, South Carolina.

At an early age, she joined Central Baptist Church in Denmark, South Carolina. Annette was employed as a CNA with Dean's Personal Care for a little while until joining Nancy's Health Care in 2016. In addition, Annette enjoyed helping others, spending lots of time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren, as well as putting a smile on anybody's face that she encountered throughout her day.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late James E. Broxton, Sr. Annette had six children, two preceded her in death, Kosher Adams and Xavier E. Broxton, as well as two sisters, Sallie Parker and Emma R. Sanders.

She leaves to cherish her memories—one son, Antron L. Adams, Sr. of Las Vegas, NV; three daughters: Latreece K. Broxton and Angel A. Washington of the home, and Tiffany R. Washington of Columbia, SC; two brothers: Marvin Singleton of Cope, SC and Leroy Adams of New Ellenton, SC; five sisters: Bertha Ryant of Orangeburg, SC, Maxine Adams of New Ellenton, SC, Ellen Davis (Russell) of Denmark, SC, Dora Abebe of Bamberg, SC and Ida Duncan of Columbia, SC; eight grandchildren, whom she loved very dearly; three special friends: Mrs. Sallie Boatwright, Mrs. Virginia Bannister and Mrs. Ceily Murdaugh all of Bamberg, SC, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
