MRS. ANNETTE J. THOMAS SAPP was born June 10, 1956, to
the late Mr. Leroy (Nab) Williams and Ms. Beatrice Thomas in
Bamberg County, South Carolina.
Annette attended Blackville-Hilda Public Schools and graduated
in 1975. Later in life she attended Denmark Technical College and
studied General Business.
Annette confessed Christ as her personal Savior and united with
Mount Zion Baptist Church of Lees, SC. She was known for her
willingness to help everyone in every way she could. She loved her
family, friends and co-workers. She was a very hardworking lady
who devoted 31 years of service to Wal-Mart, Incorporated.
Early in life, she was united into holy matrimony to James M.
Sapp. To this union, three children were born: James D. Sapp of
Blackville, SC, LaPrecious Sapp of Graniteville, SC and Craig (Andrea) Sapp of Lexington, SC.
Annette was preceded in death by two brothers: Willie James Thomas,
Jr. and Carl Williams.
In addition to her children, survivors include: her mother, Ms.
Beatrice Thomas of Blackville, SC; sisters, Runell Thomas, Willie
Mae Thomas, Ethel (Robert) Faust and Victoria Thomas, all of
Blackville, SC, Eartha (Zerry) Miller of Winter Springs, FL, Patricia
(Carl) Mims of Aiken, SC, and Kimberly Williams of Newport
News, VA; brothers, Ricky Thomas of Blackville, SC and Ronnie
Williams of Brooklyn, NY; grandchildren, Deshawn Sapp, Xavier
Sapp, Natalia Sapp, Miracle Sapp, TyAsia Sapp, James Sapp, Jr.,
Craig Sapp, Jr., A'Keya Hill, Keyoine Hill, Kamani Reed and Monet
Rivers; great-grandchild, Zayden Washington; aunts,
Mary Ruth Staley of Coconut Creek, FL and Janette
Thomas of Blackville, SC; uncle, Douglas Canty
of Paxville, SC; a very special devoted friend,
Michael Irving of the home; an adopted daughter,
Octavia Johnson, of Orangeburg, SC as well as a
host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
