Annie Louise McNair was born on March 23, 1946 in Olar, South
Carolina. She later moved to Savannah, Georgia. After graduating from high
school, Annie left Savannah and moved to Brooklyn, New York. During this time,
she met the love of her life, the late Frank C. McNair.
The late Frank and Annie were united in holy matrimony on October 12, 1968.
This union was blessed with three children, Kevin McNair Sr., Kenneth McNair,
and Yolanda McNair-Hammonds. Annie was a devoted homemaker and hands on
with her children. In the midst of taking care her family, she became a certified
nurse's aid. She also devoted her life through ministry. She officially became an
ordained missionary under the COGIC Jurisdiction of South New Jersey. She also
stood beside her husband as being the first lady of the South Jersey Jurisdiction
in Clayton, New Jersey. She was then elevated to an Evangelist and served as the
Pastor of Children's Ministry at Christian Tabernacle COGIC in North Philadelphia, PA, under the leadership of the late Bishop R. T. Jones, Sr. and former Pastor Bishop R. T. Jones Jr.
The McNair's followed God's calling and relocated from New Jersey to Bamberg,
South Carolina in 1999 attending Victory Temple COGIC in Denmark, South Carolina. While there she stood by her husband as the first lady of Holy Temple COGIC from 2000-2005. Evang. McNair went on to preach and encourage
women in different cities.
She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: her mother, Missionary Bernice
Brown; three children, Kevin (Zubedia) McNair of Maryland, Kenneth (Lisa
Lynn) McNair of Bamberg, SC, and Yolanda (Jermaine Sr.) McNair-Hammonds
of Grovetown, GA; six grandchildren; Kevin McNair Jr., Tyreese McNair, Omari
McNair, Jermaine Hammonds Jr., David McNair, and Makayla Hammonds, and
a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, church family, and friends.
