Mrs. Annie Mae Simmons Ray of Orangeburg, South Carolina was born

March 16, 1960 in Norway, South Carolina to John and Georgia Mae

Simmons.  She attended  and graduated from Job Corps in Bamberg,

South Carolina and Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Annie Mae was a member of First Peter Baptist Church in Bamberg,

South Carolina.  She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at MUSC

Health in Orangeburg, South Carolina where she was named TRMC

2019 Certified Nursing Assistant of the Year.

She was married in holy matrimony to the late Jesse Ray.

Annie Mae loved watching her favorite shows on television and taking

care of others.

Annie Mae's survivors are one brother; Lucius Simmons of Norway, SC,

two sisters; Betty Brown of Hilda, SC and Mary Whitaker of Sebring,

FL.  She has one Godson; Levarn Davis of Columbus, IN and a host of

nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

We are truly going to miss Annie Mae but her memories will always be

cherished.
