Annie Lee was born to Mrs. Vicie Faust in Blackville SC on September 15, 1923 and through
God's blessings, was 97 years old. Annie continued to live in the same home where she grew
up. At an early age she was baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church where she continued to
remain faithful until her health failed. She was educated at Macedonia School located across the
street from her house.

She enjoyed working in the church and was a past member of the usher's ministry and the church
aid club. She was also recently named "Mother of the Church".

On Sunday, November 1, 2020, at her home, God saw within His will to call her home after an
extended illness. The memory of her will continue to live in the hearts and minds of those who
knew her.

Annie Lee was married to Norris Washington in 1939. She was the mother of ten children and was preceded in death by five of her children,  Rison, Kenneth, Glenn, Betty and Willie. Also her only sibling Laura
Davi, also preceded her in death.
Annie's survivor's include one daughter, Pauline (Elbert) Williams, Asheville, NC;  four sons, Frank
(Mary), Blackville, SC, Clyde (Cynthia), Asheville, NC, Isaac, Augusta, Ga and Jerry (Shirley),
Philadelphia, PA; one adopted son, James Walker (Asheville, NC); three grands raised in the
home,  Josephine, Sheryl, and Lionel; one niece, Nancy Harris, Capital Heights, MD; twenty grands,
twenty-eight great grands, two great great grands and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
