Sunrise: Athony Levelle Steedley II, affectionately called "Velle" by family and friends was born July 12, 1990, to parents, retired Air Force MSgt., Anthony L. Steedley and retired SMSgt., Jacqueline Steedley. Anthony, born and raised in Warner Robins was baptized at an early age and was a member of First Baptist Church, Garmon Street until he relocated to South Carolina.  He was a graduate of Christian Fellowship Academy, in Warner Robins, Georgia. Upon graduation, his love for cooking led him to the Culinary Art Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. The skills he learned as a student at the Culinary Art Institute led him to become a chef at several restaurants in the Charleston area including Toast of Charleston, T Bonz, PF Changs, Michealangelo's, and Halls Chop House. Velle was devoted to his career but did not let this take away from the time he enjoyed spending with his family. Some of his favorite things to do were watching anime as well as listening to his favorite music or podcasts. He took pride in being the provider for his family, and in the words of his wife Latoya, "they are left with the lasting impact of his love, faith, and dedication."  Although quiet in stature, Velle loved life, and was often the life of the party. He loved deeply and was deeply loved by so many.

Suset: On Friday, August 1, 2025, Velle peacefully transitioned from this life to the next. He loved our Lord and Savior and counted it joy to be in the family of faith. Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Mr. Robert Elmo Steedley, Mr. Jack Glover, grandmother, Ms. Janie Jones. Velle was a devout fiance', a dedicated father, loving son and adored brother. He leaves to Cherish his memories, his fiance', Latoya of Summerville, SC; his love and laughter will live on through his beautiful daughters, DeLeah S. Steedley and Taylor Rose Steedley of Durham, NC, and Ebony Summer Steedley of Summerville, SC.  His guidance and love were shown freely and will be cherished by his stepchildren of the home: Matthias, Taylor B, Joy, and Victory; his father, Ret. Air Force MSgt., Anthony Steedley, mother, retired SMSgt., Jacqueline Steedley, and stepmother, Nicole Steedley; siblings, Robert Elmo Jack "EJ" Steedley, Alex Thurgood Steedley, Abigail Cherise Steedley, Josiah Isriael Steedley and stepbrother, Christopher Rashaud Johnson; his loving grandmother, Mrs. Helen Steedley and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
