Arthur Lee "Sonny Boy" Robinson, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 1, 2019 at the Pruitt Health, North Augusta, SC following an extended illness. He was born on July 10, 1944 in Springfield, South Carolina to the late Barzillar and Lillie Bell Robinson. He was married to the late Rosa Lee Felder Robinson.

He began his Christian experience by being baptized at an early age at Samaria Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Monroe Bush, Jr., where he served as an usher for many years. He was a husband, father, son, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was a very proud man and loved to dance. He was employed at Dixie-Narco and Graniteville for many years. He also attended Norfield High School. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, three sisters, Patricia Robinson, Cornell Howard and Mary Lee Lathom and two brothers, Melvin Robinson and James L. Robinson.

Although in God's own timing and purpose, He has entered eternal rest. Those He leaves to cherish his loving memories: one daughter, Victoria Robinson (LaShon Green), Aiken, SC; one brother; Mr. Willie B. Robinson (Barbara), Springfield, SC; three sisters, Mrs. Bernice Jenkins, Reverend Jannett R. Bowens and Mrs. Barbara R. Daughtery all of Springfield, SC; one aunt; Mrs. Pensacola Reed of Augusta, GA; four grandchildren, Antwain Robinson, Tanisha Hay, Tiquan James and Isaiah Robinson; two great-grandchildren, Braylen Hay and Aubrie Hay and a host of, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
