Arthur Lewis Wallace Sr., passed peacefully from this earth the night of August 11, 2015 after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and caregivers during the last days of his life. Arthur was born to the late Bobbie Felder Wallace and Fred Edward Wallace. He joined St. Thomas Missionary Baptist Church at an early age before joining Macedonia Baptist Church located in Blackville, SC. Arthur was a graduate of the class of 1981 of Blackville -Hilda High School where he was a head manager for the Hawks football team. Arthur was affectionately known as "Uncle Ride Out". He was employed at Talley-Corbitt Manufacturing and Green Blade Grass Company until his health limited him. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his son, Arthur (Yolanda) Wallace Jr of Barnwell, SC; two sisters, Donna (Clarence) McKay of Norway, SC and Pamela (Jerry) Henderson of Hilda, SC; three brothers, James (Tess)Wallace of Denmark SC, Darryl (Cassandra) Wallace of Williston, SC and Greg Wallace of Barnwell, SC; two aunts, Julia Mae Salley of Blackville SC and Willie Dale Riley of Blackville, SC; two grandchildren; a special cousin, Julia Jones of Williston, SC; a dear friend, Thomas Boyd; and a host other loving relatives and friends. Viewing for the public will be held on Saturday from 12:00 noon- 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
