A udrey Marie McMillian was born to David and Betty Jean (Hughes) McMillian on December 31, 1976 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She departed this life on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at The Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg, SC.

At an early age, Audrey accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized at Union Baptist Church, Bamberg, South Carolina, where she served in the following capacities: Sunbeam/Youth Choir, Junior Usher Board, Mt. Calvary queen representative for Union Baptist Church, Youth Missionary, and she was an active Sunday School member.

Audrey was a 1995 graduate of Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School, Bamberg, South Carolina. While in high school, her favorite subject was Home Economics, where she enjoyed cooking and sewing.  She attended Claflin College for 2 years, with an interest in Secondary Elementary Education. Audrey was employed with E-Z Shop Convenience Store in Blackville, SC and Bamberg, SC.  Following her employment at E-Z Shop, Audrey was employed with Ducane Heating, until her health declined.

Audrey will always be remembered for her friendly smile, positive attitude, and pleasant personality, in which, she shared with everyone she met. So, let us never forget the beautiful memories Audrey has left behind.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, David and Betty Jean (Hughes) McMillian; her grandparents, Joshua and Nancy S. McMillian and maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Hughes, along with other close relatives.

Audrey leaves to cherish her memories - three loving and caring sisters: Debra Downs (Charles) Odom of Denmark, SC, Patricia Downs of Atlanta, GA. and Sharon McMillian of New York; devoted aunts: Jasie M. Kinard of Bamberg, SC, Rose Mary (Joe) Odom of Highpoint, NC, Florence Rivers of Tuskegee, AL, Jestine Hughes Myers of Denmark, SC, Benita Booker of Blackville, SC and Clara Downs of Greenville, SC; one surviving uncle, McKinley Hughes of Denmark, SC.  Audrey will be truly missed by her favorite cousins: Cyndia Scarborough of Lexington, SC, Nancia Odom of Durham, NC, Jonise (Traun) Ratliffe of Highpoint, NC and Tiffany Williams of Tuskegee, AL.  She has a host of other cousins and special friends she adored. She will also be truly missed by all her male cousins.
