Bennie Banks, son of the late Frank and Catherine Banks was born on February 5, 1965 in Bamberg, SC. He departed his life on April 15, 2020 after a brief illness at the Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg, SC.

He was educated in the public schools. Upon graduating, he pursued his career as a warehouse worker at Rockland Inc. and Delevan Inc. In his spare time, he enjoyed painting. In 1978, he was united in holy matrimony to Patricia Banks.

Preceding Bennie in death are (3) brothers,  Gary, Jack and Wesley Banks.

Precious memories of our beloved Bennie will be forever cherished by his (5) children, Tonia Inabinet of Columbia, SC,  Tony Inabinet of Orangeburg, SC, Tanisha (John) Williams, Bamberg, SC ,Vanessa Banks, Bamberg, SC and Bennie Corey Thomas New York, New York; (3) sisters, Idella (Thaddeus) Johnson, Francis Presley, Tonja (James) Cohen; one mother- i-n law, Ellen Inabinet; (2) brothers, Jerry (Sandra) Banks of Augusta, GA and Eric (Ashia) Bryant of Bamberg, SC; one aunt, Mary Faith Pickney of Bamberg, SC: (9) Sisters- in- law, Rosalyn, Debra, Gloria, Nikki, Shirley, Patty, Jaqueline, Olovia and Belinda; (3) Brothers- in -law, Nathaniel, Earl and Benjamin; 13 grandchildren which was in the home, Kendra, Eric, Safari, Jitari, Amari. Jorydn, Zion, and Joelle; (2) Great-grands Kaysen Anderson and Jamia Inabinet; special sister- in- law, Deloris and Shirley Banks; special caretakers/ nieces Delena Lawson and Shonta Crobsy; close nephews, John Fritz Gerald Presley and Timothy Inabinet; very special friend, James Behling and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
