Brandon Lamont "B" Priester, the son of Ms. Debbie Priester and Mr. Leon (Teresa) Priester, was born on February 19, 1985 in Aiken, SC. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 after an extended illness. At an early age, he was baptized at Culbert Branch Missionary Baptist Church.

Brandon graduated from Williston Elko High School in 2003. During high school he actively participated in baseball and was a member of the chess club. In 2009, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the illustrious Claflin University, in Orangeburg, SC. He received a Master of Education in Counselor Education from South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, SC. After his matriculation, Brandon dedicated his life to assisting students of all ages in receiving a quality education while gaining excellent academic experiences. He served as the Coordinator for Service Learning and Community Service in the Office of Career Development at Claflin University. As the Deer Park Middle School Guidance Counselor, he provided social, emotional and academic support to the students of North Charleston, SC. He was also a dedicated associate at Bath and Body Works in Orangeburg, SC and TJ Maxx in Orangeburg, Summerville and Aiken, SC.

Until his illness, Brandon was an active member of the Association of American Educators, the National Education Association, the National Association of Continuing Education, and the American School Counselor Association. He was also a devoted member of Spade Phi Spade Fraternity and the Edisto Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Charles "Cha Cha" Holmes.

In addition to his parents, Brandon leaves to cherish fond memories, Ms. Gladys Mickey (maternal grandmother); Mr. and Mrs. Leroy (Georgia) Priester (paternal grandparents); Ms. Dorothy Edwards (God Mother); Mr. Norman O'Neal (God Brother); Ms. Anitra Dicks, Ms. Markeitta Taylor, and Ms. Makayla Billings (God Sisters); Ms. Tonyetta McDaniel (special friend); Miss Harper McDaniel (Goddaughter); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved Brandon very much.
