Carlos Laquan Sabb, affectionately known as Snooky, was born on November 11,1972, in Bamberg, South Carolina to Mr. Henry "Butch" Sabb and Ora Lee Whetstone Sabb. He transitioned peacefully from this earth, at his home on Sunday, March 8, 2026, in Blackville, South Carolina. During his illness, he was surrounded by his loving parents, family, and friends.

Carlos was the eldest of three sons born to the union of Henry and Ora Lee Sabb. At an early age, he was baptized and joined Honey Ford Baptist Church in Denmark, South Carolina. He had a strong upbringing as a young man and kept those values throughout adulthood. He was loving, kind, and had a magnetic personality. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed cartoons and his favorite was Scooby Doo (smile). He loved sports, including watching WWE wrestling, basketball, and football. He was a hardcore Dallas Cowboys fan. He proudly wore the Dallas Cowboys paraphernalia whether they won or lost. Carlos will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his faithful pet companion, Bodo. He would go on fishing trips to New York once a year; however, one of his greatest joys was spending time fishing with his son, CJ.

Carlos attended the public schools of Blackville- Hilda School District and was a proud member of the Class of 1991. He later attended Voorhees College and Denmark Technical College before enlisting in the United States Army Reserve.

Carlos lived and worked in Houston, Texas, Fayetteville, North Carolina, and, most recently, Greenville, South Carolina, prior to becoming ill. After becoming ill, he moved back home to be surrounded by close family and friends.

Carlos leaves a loving family who will forever cherish his memories: his parents, Henry and Ora Lee Sabb of the home; his son, Carlos "CJ" Sabb of Bamberg, SC, whom he shared with his former spouse, Brenda Sabb, his daughter, Kapreon Ricks of Tallassee, Alabama; his brothers, Anthony Sabb, Kederick Sabb, Anthawn (Deborah) Scott, Jermalle Brooker,  Steven (Jaleesa) Brooker, and Derrick (Catherine) Hanberry; grandchildren, Ivory, Immanuel Jr., Kissimanee, and Uriela; sister, Nikki Doe (Austin)God sister, Libby; seven aunts; three uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a very special friend, Starlette Harrison. Carlos will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his faithful pet companion, Bodo.
