Mr. Carroll S. Price's Obituary
Funeral services for the late Mr. Carroll S. Price will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 11:00 am at Ned Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Barnwell, SC. Viewing for the public will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 noon - 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Carroll Simms Price was born on September 25, 1938 in the Dunbarton community of Barnwell county to Reverend Aaron and Magdalene Price. Carroll was preceded in death by both his parents, four siblings, Thaddius, Dariese, Vivian, and Comcee, and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Rose Price.
Carroll was united in holy matrimony to Mary Wicker Price. He faithfully served in the United States Army from November 7, 1957 to October 7, 1959, receiving an honorable discharge as a Private First Class.
Carroll leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Lisa Carroll Price (Grovner) of Brunswick, GA, three granddaughters Lauren Grovner, Chelsea Mayo, and Zaria Brown, and one great-grandson Kason Ladson, all of Brunswick, GA, one sister, Viola (Benjamin) Holmes of Martin, SC, and one brother Earther (Dan) Price of Barnwell, SC, three nephews, Dr. Charles Price of Durham, NC, Arnold Price of Barnwell, SC, and Donald Price (Nancy) of Bamberg, SC.
