Funeral services for the late Cartrenna D. Thomas will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Bull Swamp Baptist Church in Orangeburg, SC. Burial will follow immediately in the church cemetery. On Monday, February 24, 2014 at The Regional Medical Center, Ms. Cartrenna Darvette Thomas quietly answered the Master's call from labor to rest. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Theodore Thomas, Sr. and Mrs. Gracie Thomas of Orangeburg. Cartrenna received her education from Orangeburg- Wilkinson High School in Orangeburg, South Carolina. At an early age, she joined Bull Swamp Baptist Church. Cartrenna was precededed in death by her father, Mr. Theodore Thomas, Sr. and one brother, Mr. Willie Oneal Thomas. Although, Cartrenna's physical presence will be no more, she will leave everlasting memories to those who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her fond memories are: her mother, Mrs. Gracie Thomas of the home; one sister, Mrs. Gloria Guinyard of Cordova, SC; two brothers, Rev. Theordore (Velvet) Thomas, Jr. of Columbia, SC and Roger Thomas of Orangeburg, SC; a very special devoted friend, Mr. Hercules Benjamin of Orangeburg, SC; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
