Cecil Parker was born on April 3, 1945. He is the son of the late Charlie "Curtis" Parker and
step son of the late Lula Mae Parker.

He graduated from Wilkinson High School in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He was raised at 405
Edisto Drive, Orangeburg, South Carolina by his grandmother and grandfather, the late Mr. and
Mrs. Ellen and Tom Parker.

In his early years, he joined Jerusalem United Methodist Church in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

In September 2004, his father went home to be with the Lord, and Cecil was taken in by Mary
Myers and her daughters. Shortly afterwards, he joined Macedonia Baptist Church. At
Macedonia, he was an honorary member of the Senior Choir and won the title of "Mr. Senior
Choir" for several years. He was also recognized as one of the Senior Citizens.

Cecil was employed at OSCO Meat Company. His affectionate smile and laugh will be truly
missed. His hobbies were watching his favorite TV shows: "Gunsmoke", "Bonanza", and
"Walker, Texas Ranger". Cecil also enjoyed traveling, looking at pretty women, and spending
time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, his brother, Robert Lee Parker, and a
sister, Rosa Lee Parker.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, his family: Mary Myers, Brenda Myers-Williams, Crystal
Myers, Melissa Myers, Rommie Williams, Daniel Myers II, Brandon Williams, Christopher
Myers and Marcus Myers, a cousin raised in the home Janet Parker of Queens, New York, an
aunt Eva Mae Parker, of Orangeburg, South Carolina, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
