Mr. Cedric Allen Washington was born on May 28, 1987, in Bamberg, SC. He was the youngest of two children born to Johnnie and Patricia J. Washington. On Friday, February 25, 2022, he departed from his earthly body at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.

Cedric was a 2005 graduate of Blackville-Hilda High school in Blackville, SC. He was a 2009 graduate of Lander University in Greenwood, SC, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice and a 2012 graduate of Capella University with a Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.
Cedric left college with two loves; a love for traveling after an adventure to Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Leslie Lockhart, who became his wife on December 13, 2014.

Cedric was employed and served the state of South Carolina for over 12 years. He recently served as Day Support Supervisor with South Carolina Midlands Center in Columbia, SC. Additionally, Cedric was an entrepreneur and creative, owning Adventurous Escapades and the creator of Facebook Group, "Travel is Life" which reached close to 500k members. His charismatic and fun-loving personality was magnetic, leaving those who experienced his presence to describe him as hardworking, caring, and a genuinely loving person.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Patricia J. Washington, and older brother, Orlando Washington who he held in great esteem and love.

Mr. Cedric Allen Washington leaves to cherish his life and legacy: his beloved wife, Leslie Lockhart Washington; sweet baby girl, Blakely Jordan, his greatest hero, father Johnnie Washington of Blackville, SC; mother-in-law, Regina Lockhart, father-in-law, Aaron Lockhart, brother-in-law Aaron T. Lockhart; A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and many other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
