Charlotte O Williams was born June 8, 1964 to Joann Shipman and Mitchell R Smith. She departed this
life on April 1, 2020 at Augusta University Medical Center.

Charlotte was a member of Caledonia Missinary Baptist Church, Batesburg SC. She received her
education from Bryn Mawr Elementary School and Harrison High School of Lower Marion Township "The
Main Line" Pennsylvania of which she was a 1982 graduate. She continued her formal education at
Morgan State University in Baltimore Maryland.

Charlotte retired from the South Carolina Department of Corrections as an Accountant after 26 years of
service. She was a faithful employee of Tri Development Center of Aiken County as a Residential
Services Manager. Her coworkers and all she came in contact with said "she had a heart of gold".
Charlotte was a part of the 2005/2006 Blackville Hilda High School Football Championship Team. She
attended every game no matter the distance or weather. She will always be a Hawk. She always said,
"State Champs Baby"!

Left to cherish her memories are a loving and devoted son and mother of the home; Stanley Lance Williams (Akeira D Hill) and Joann Smith; two brothers, Johnathan Hugh Shipman (Latashia Yvet Mckevie) of Aiken SC, Michael Patrick
Smith (Elisa Gallegos) of Richmond, California; Nephew, Meko Patterson Smith; A devoted friend, Valerie
Lloyd Padgett of Augusta GA; a devoted uncle, Darrell Johnson of Augusta GA; friends, Andreal Huffman of North SC, Lisa Witherspoon of Baltimore Maryland; a family friend Sandra Hallman of Blackville SC and a host of cousins and relatives.
