Damond Deandre Carlos Rice, age 25, was born on October 26th, 2000, in Bamberg County. He entered eternal rest at the age of 25.

Damond started school in Bamberg County and later graduated from Cane Bay School, Charleston South Carolina. He continued his education by learning a trade in welding. Later in life, Damond moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with his cousin, Deonta Rice, whom he admired and looked up to, where he pursued his passion for music. Around 2024, he returned to the Orangeburg area and began working at Attentive Care as a personal care aide, assisting individuals with their everyday needs.

Damond was a proud and loving father. Throughout his life, he was helped and supported by his aunts, Patrice Reddish and Alice Tyler who played a significant role in raising him and whom he lovingly considered his second mother. Including his special aunts Larraine Sanders and Tempest Sanders. He was deeply influenced by them with whom he lived while growing up, along with his grandmother Loretta Rice.

Damond was preceded in death by his godparent, Alice & Shorty Tyler; grandmother, Rhoda Williams of Bowman South Carolina, great-grandparents, Margie and John Sanders; great-grandmother, Magalene Rice; great-grandmother, Nettie Mae Williams of Bowman, South Carolina; aunt, Gloria Ponder; Danny Williams of Bowman, South Carolina; and oldest brother Malik Glover of Bowman, SC.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his beloved daughter, KayAri Williams of Bowman, South Carolina; his loving mother, Lakiesha Rice; his father, Throne Williams of Bowman SC; siblings, Da'Von Johnson(Bowman SC), Ian Denison of Georgetown SC, Ky'Shawn Folk of Orangeburg SC; his grandfathers, Carl Sanders and Ronnie Funches of Orangeburg, South Carolina; his grandmother, Loretta Rice of Augusta GA; his special friend, DeiJhane Davis of Bamberg, South Carolina; aunts include Larraine Sanders of Denmark, South Carolina, Betty Stivener of Denmark, South Carolina, Henrietta Rice of York PA, Pearlie Rice of Denmark, South Carolina, Sharon Sanders of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Tempest Hightower of Columbia, South Carolina, Laquita Rice of Aiken, South Carolina, Shaquana Rice of Columbia, South Carolina, Teliana Rice of Columbia, South Carolina and Jeanette Gibbs of Augusta, Georgia; uncles include Roger Williams of Newark, New Jersey, Trennon Rice of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Lemazio Benjamin of Augusta, Georgia, Earl Jr. Sanders, Ben Sanders of Denmark, South Carolina, Shawn Sanders of Aiken, South Carolina, Harry Sanders of Bamberg, South Carolina and Donell Sanders of Branchville, South Carolina. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends who will forever remember his life and legacy.
