Mr. Daniel Johnson, son of the late George and Edna Hiers Johnson was born on April 1, 1965 in Bamberg, South Carolina. He departed this life on Saturday, April 20, 2013 in Orangeburg, SC. Daniel joined Thankful Baptist Church at an early age and attended faithfully until his health failed. He was a 1983 graduate of Bamberg- Ehrhardt High School, Bamberg, South Carolina. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and later transferred to the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged. He worked several years for Schneider Trucking Company; later he was employed by Tobul Accumulators of Bamberg where he worked until he became disabled. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Edna Johnson; a brother, Clarence Johnson; and a sister-in-law, Jacqueline Johnson. To cherish his memories are: a loving son, Daniel Jerome Johnson of Bamberg, SC; loving and caring brothers, David Johnson and Wayne (Jannie) Johnson of Bamberg; aunts, Ella Breland, Denmark, SC, Eunice Stamboldjiev, Columbia, SC, Gladys Hiers of North Carolina and Gertrude Hiers of Virginia; grand aunt, Rose Ella Jones, Denmark, SC; uncle, Linwood (Carine) Hiers, Denmark, SC; sister-in-law, Frances Johnson, Bamberg, SC; nieces, Teesa (Jamie) Brunson, Gaston, SC, Jocelyn Johnson, Bamberg, SC; nephew, Angelo Vargas, Atlanta, GA; grandniece, Kennedy Mikelle Brunson, Gaston, SC and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
