Funeral services for the late Mr. Darrell Meeks will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 1:00 pm at St. John Baptist Church, Bamberg, South Carolina. Interment services will follow immediately at Bamberg Memory Gardens, Bamberg, South Carolina. Public viewing will be held on Sunday between the hours of 1:00-6:00 pm at the funeral home. Darrell Meeks, the loving son of the late James & Bernice Meeks, was born on June 7, 1966 in Bamberg, South Carolina. He was educated in Bamberg School District One. He joined St. John Baptist Church at an early age. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Darrell leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mrs. Bernadette Meeks, four children; Corderial Meeks, Sade Meeks, Madison Meeks and Sheraton Meeks; one grandchild, Harmony Meeks; his brothers and sisters, James Meeks (Lessie), Vernell Rice (Odell), Ronald Meeks (Jeannette), Charles Meeks, Eva Dell Dowling, Marilyn Haynes (Bernard), Virgal Smalls (Donald), Wanda Nettles (Lee), June Meeks, Juanita Meeks (Tony), Joann Meeks, Melvin Meeks and Cynthia James (Robert); a loving aunt, Adell Dowling;one uncle, Rayfield Grant (Fannie), Brooklyn, NY; in-laws, Henry and Daisy Sanders and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a dear friend Teresa Singleton (Bishopville, SC.
