David Antonio Sapp entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at his residence in York, Pennsylvania.  He was the son of Mrs. Pearlie Mae Rice and David Sapp.

David received his education from Denmark-Olar public schools.  He then moved to York, Pennsylvania at the age of seventeen, and remained there until his passing.

Although David's presence physically will be no more, he leaves a light of love that will forever illuminate the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

David was preceded in death by both maternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.

He leave to cherish precious memories:  his two children, Azhun Jah'Cir Johnson and Za'Myha Marie Sapp, both of York, PA; his mother, Pearlie Mae Rice of Denmark, SC; his father, David Edward Sapp of Bamberg, SC; one brother, Demetrice (Twanetta) Rice of York, PA; three sisters, Latoya Rice of Denmark, SC, Whitney Sapp and Mahalia Sapp, both of Bamberg, SC; three nephews, Tristan Moody, Jr., Ly'Rique Jamison and Latroy Jamison; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; six special friends, Brandon Odom, Marquis Felder, Tarell Glover, Avery Thompson, Andrew Sprenkle and Kevin Watkins; Godmother, Shana Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
