Deacon James Albright was born on June 7, 1933 in Blackville, South Carolina to the late Harold Albright and Pinkie Myers Albright. He departed this life on March 28, 2013 at Providence Hospital, Columbia, South Carolina. Deacon Albright was educated at Macedonia School located in Blackville, SC in 1953. He was also educated at the Area Trade School where he studied carpentry and brick masonry. Deacon Albright was a faithful and dedicated member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and in many other capacities within the church. Deacon Albright was currently employed with Dash's Funeral Home of Blackville, Bamberg and Orangeburg. Deacon Albright faithfully executed his duties as a citizen of the United States by serving in the United States Army with pride, dignity and patriotism. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: a loving wife, Ceonia Davis Albright of the home; a son, Markel Albright of Philadelphia, PA; a daughter, Nikkisha (Guy) Twyman of Philadelphia, PA; a granddaughter, Miriam (Willie IV) Lynch of Norcross, GA; great grandchildren, Kamari and Kadir Lynch both of Norcross, GA; two sisters-in-law, Mildred D. White and Emily Lee both of Blackville, SC; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Viewing for the public will be held on Monday between the hours of 10:00 a.m.-7:00 pm at the funeral home.
