DEACON EDWARD M. IRVING was born in Alachua, Florida on
January 28, 1956 to the late Robert Irving, Sr. and Ella Mae Hartwell.

Edward attended the public schools of Alachua County. He later
moved to Denmark, South Carolina.
Edward was a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in
Barnwell, South Carolina where he was a faithful Deacon and a member
of the Male Chorus.
He was employed for many years by Southeastern Fiberglass,
Voorhees College and Dixie-Narco.
Edward was married to his loving and devoted wife, Deloris Kearse
for thirty years. This union was blessed with a beautiful family.
He was preceded in death by Robert Irving, Jr., Willis Irving, Henry
Irving, Julia Ann Cornell and Yvonne Watson.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories: a loving and devoted wife,
Deloris Irving of the home; two sons, Darrell (Cyndi Clark) Kearse of
Aiken, SC, D'Andre (Yolanda) Kearse of Blackville, SC; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three nieces reared in the home,
Vontrell Hartwell, Tonivea and Taylor Johnson; a brother, Ronnie Irving
of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers-in-law, Willie James Carnell and Rodney
Kearse; four sisters-in-law, Pauline Mintz, Shirley Kearse, Linda Irving
and Betty Irving; two uncles; two aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, other loving relatives and caring friends.
