Funeral services for the late James Wallace will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Macedonia Baptist Church, Blackville, SC. Interment services will immediately follow at Blackville Community Cemetery.   Viewing for the public will be held on Friday from 12:00 noon- 7:00 pm at Macedonia Baptist Church.


Deacon James Wallace "Po-Kat", was born on September 8, 1959 to the late Fred and Bobbi Wallace. He departed this life on February 6, 2017 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

James was a very loving person. Everyone that knew him, knew he loved to eat.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbi Wallace; his father, Fred Wallace and his brother, Arthur Wallace.

James leaves to cherish his loving memories: his loving wife, Tess Wallace; four children, Marquette (Donshawn) Wallace of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Adrian Wade and Courtney Wallace of Norway, South Carolina and David McFalling of Denmark, South Carolina; nine grandchildren, Trinity, Jaylyn, Londyn, Savion, Chase, Daviyon, Gracelynn, Madison and Zion; mother-in-law, Dorothy Salley; siblings, 1st Sgt. Donna (Clarence) Mckay of Denmark, South Carolina, Pamela Raysor of Blackville, South Carolina,  Darrlyn (Cassandra) Wallace of Williston, South Carolina and Gregg (Jennifer) Wallace of Barnwell, South Carolina; brother-in-law, Epson Salley; sister-in-law, Linda Salley; two aunts, Williedell Riley and Julia Mae Salley; special friends who were like sisters and brothers, Mary Joe, Melinda Lee, Marilyn Lee and Greg (Olympia)
Lee as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
