Donald "Ducky" Kearse was born on April 6, 1952 in Blackville, South Carolina to the late Harry and Ella Bell Kearse. He was educated in the Blackville Public School System. Donald was employed at Blackville Sewing Manufacturing for a period of ten years and was later employed at E.T. Barwick Mills where he worked as a cloth and yarn spreader. Cherishing Donald's precious memories are: his daughter, Latasha (Kenneth) Peters of Columbia, SC; three sisters, Harriett Perry, Shirley Lee and Gloria (Ronnie) Gatson; three brothers, Pinkey Kearse, Charlie (Dorothy) Kearse and Stevie (Lorraine) Kearse; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
