Mr. Eddie Lee "Throw Down" Williams was born on December 14, 1950 and is the son of Clarine Bruce Williams and the late Benjamin Williams. Eddie attended Bamberg County Public Schools and worked several jobs around Bamberg County. He was also employed at the Sanitation Department in New York City for many years. Eddie attended Rome Baptist Church in Denmark, South Carolina for several years. Eddie was united in holy matrimony to Arlene Leftwich on May 27, 2004 in Columbia, South Carolina. Cherishing Eddie's precious memories are: his wife, Arlene Williams; his mother, Clarene B. Williams; six sisters, Christine Bracey of Philadelphia, PA, Rosa Dell Barry of Columbia, SC, Claretha Williams of Brooklyn, NY, Mary A. Mason of Columbia, SC, Barbara A. Loadholt of Columbia, SC, and Annette Williams of Bamberg, SC; his uncles, Primus Bruce of Bamberg, SC and Sammie Bruce of Bamberg, SC; an aunt, Mabel Ealey of Bamberg, SC; six brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Viewing for the public will be held on Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends may call at the residence and the funeral home.
