Mr. Edward Moss Jr, son of the late Edward Moss Sr. and Emma Murray Moss, was born January 21, 1949 in Orangeburg, SC. He departed this life and entered enteral rest on April 6, 2020 at PRISMA Health in Columbia, SC. "Moss or Junior" as he was affectionally known as to family and friends, started his early education in the South Carolina public school system. His family relocated to Washington, DC in 1955 where he continued his education in the Washington DC public school system. He graduated from Dunbar Senior High School in 1968.

His loving parents preceded him in death, as well as his brothers, Leroy "TF" Brown and Frank Moss and his granddaughter, Madison Gwen Edwards Moss.

He leaves to cherish his memories: sons, Donte Moss and Arthur Henderson of Pittsburg, PA; daughters, Ebony Makal of Bladensburg, MD and Catrelle Lewis of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren, Jazmier Moss, Doviye Moss, Taylonna Moss, and Davionna Moss, Orlando Moss, Heba Moss Bey II and Riley Edwards; his sister, Dorothy Mintz of Lexington Park, MD and brother Vincent Pope of Washington, DC; his niece, Vanderlyn (Marquette) Ransom of Lexington Park, MD and nephew, Vandy Mintz Jr of Atlanta, GA as well as other loving family members and friends.
