Elliott Adams, Jr. is the son of the late Deacon Elliott Adams, Sr. and Mother Martez Adams.  Elliott was born on November 21, 1954 and entered eternal rest on August, 5, 2024.

Elliott joined St. Noah Church of God in Christ at an early age. Later in life Elliott accepted Christ as his Savior and later re-dedicated his life to Christ.

Elliott loved playing the drums and singing with various quartet groups. Elliott had a very unique alto voice and could harmonize well. He attended Aiken County public schools and worked many years with some of the finest horse racetracks in Aiken County. He worked with the horses while traveling to Aqueduct Racetrack, Jamaica NY and Saratoga Racetrack, Saratoga Springs, NY just to name a few.  Elliott loved being a horse groomsmen and could tell you a lot about horses that most people wouldn't know.

Elliott was preceded in death by his sisters: Marie Wheeler, Beverly Adams, Joyce O'Conner and one brother Richard Adams, Sr. The love of his life, Mary also preceded him in death.

Cherishing Elliott's memories are his children: Elliott Adams, III (Tasha) and Mary LaShaun Carter (Moses, Jr.); two grandchildren Marquis Carter (Alexis) and Iyana Favor-Adams Smith (Myles). Elliott has one great grandchild Ryleigh Leona Smith. Elliott's surviving siblings are  Lady Dr. Viola Williams (Bishop Gehazel), Elder Jerry Adams, Sr,  Rosa Richardson, and Edith Hamlin.Elliott has some loving and supportive in-laws:Virginia Hiers, Sammy Hicks, Jr, Pastor-James Hicks, Sr (Alice), Louise Milhouse (Timothy, Sr.),Evangelist Carrie Brooks (Odell, Sr.) Queen E. Broughton (Harry) and Deacon Scott Hicks (Ellen).

In lieu of flowers on stands, the family kindly requests green plants due to them not having a burial in a cemetery.
