Mrs. Emmily "Emma" Duncan- Orr was born in Barnwell, South Carolina on July 6, 1946 to the late Farrell and Pauline Duncan.  She was called home to eternal rest on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Lexington Medical Center.

She received her education in the public schools of Barnwell County, South Carolina.

Emma was an avid supporter of Bamberg Ehrhardt High School (Red Raiders) football program.  She had a green thumb and could provide excellent care for any plants in her care.  She was also a very classy person whose blueprint was her elegant pearls. Emma also enjoyed socializing with the Bamberg County Office on Aging, where she spent time with her peers playing Bingo.

Emma's precious memories will be cherished by her loving children, Ned (Carolyn) Rivers of Barnwell, SC, Melvin (Ernestine) Duncan of Columbia, SC, Tony Duncan of Bamberg, SC and Mrs. Diane (Carl) Williams of Bamberg, SC; six grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Geraldine Williams of Orangeburg, SC and Gretchen Duncan of Bamberg, SC; two brothers, Perry Duncan of Bamberg, SC and Dennis Duncan of Columbia, SC; one sister-in-law, Lucille Kearse of Blackville, SC; two God daughters, Tonya Steward of Denmark, SC and Stephanie Stokes- Gordon of Smoaks, SC; one God son, Reginald Clark of Columbia, SC as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
