Esau Isaac was born to the late John Isaac and Jessie Prophet Isaac on November 13, 1937. Esau was called home to be with the lord and live with the angels on August 23, 2013. During his early years, Esau attended Cedar Grove Elementary School in Springfield, South Carolina. In the 1954, Esau joined the Air Force and serve as an Air Police Helper at Manhattan Beach AF Station, Brooklyn, New York. After serving approximately three years he received an Honorable Discharge in 1957. He later moved to Philadelphia, PA and was employed by the Labor's District Council in Philadelphia, PA for several years and later moved to South Carolina. After moving to South Carolina he was employed by Sunbeam Bakery and retired after 22 years of service. Upon retirement, he became a volunteer at Orangeburg-Calhoun-Allendale-Bamberg (OCAB) Community Action Agency, Inc., Senior Companion Program as a Senior Companion. In 2010, he was recognized as "Volunteer of the Year" for devoted and invaluable services rendered. Because of his love for people, he later joined The Oaks Nursing Home Staff where he worked tirelessly as a volunteer. He served on the male chorus and other ministries as a born-again Christian at New Beginning United Methodist Church in Springfield, South Carolina. He married the late Dorothy Haigler Isaac on November 24, 1988. Survivors include his beloved daughters, Stephanie Isaac-Fields of Charlotte, North Carolina, Terrisena Isaac-Ortiz of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Deltra Banks of New Brunswick, North Carolina; one son, Mark Isaac of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; one sister, Pansy Isaac of Washington, DC; two brothers, James (Marion) Isaac of Apex, North Carolina, and Fred Isaac of Norfolk, Virginia; four grandchildren, and one special friend, Sallie Middleton, and a host of other relatives and friends. His gorgeous smile and brilliant voice will continue to be in the minds and hearts of loved ones.
