Evangelist Geneva C. "Munk" Rickenbacker, daughter of the late Sadie Collins and Glenn Corley, was born in Barnwell County, South Carolina.  She entered into eternal rest on August 19, 2020 at Doctor's Hospital in Sarasota, Florida.

At an early age the family moved to Midway Community in Bamberg, SC where she was raised by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Farnk and Jennie Richvine.  The family moved to New York to live and work for many years and later moved to Sarasota, Florida.

She became a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church and attended Midway Grade School.  She received her GED in Washington, DC and then was certified as a CNA by the state of New York.  She was employed by Bamberg Hospital for over 20 years and then performed private duty CNA services.

Evangelist Rickenbacker was the beloved wife of Willie Rickenbacker for 72 years.  This union was blessed with 10 children.

Evangelist Rickenbacker was bonded with the Lord by creating the first female gospel group in Bamberg, SC, The Singing Ever Ready Group.  Later she became an Evangelist, working in the churches and singing the Gospel for the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Willie Rosco Rickenbacker, a daughter, Sandra R. Irving, and a son, Melvin Rickenbacker.

She leaves to cherish her memory: five daughters, Lena Corley of Orangeburg, SC, Genora Rickenbacker of Atlanta, GA, Janice Toomer,  Joan Robinson and Robin Rickenbacker, all of Sarasota, FL; three sons, Harold Rickenbacker of Brooklyn, NY, Herman Rickenbacker of Bamberg, SC and Terry Rickenbacker of Sarasota, FL; an adopted sister, Nettie Mae Grimes of Orangeburg, SC; three sisters-in-law, Willie Corley of Branchville, SC, Mary Rickenbacker of Bamberg, SC and Beverly Rickenbacker of Philadelphia, PA as well as a host of grands, great-grands, great-great grands, other relatives and friends.
