Mrs. Fannie Holman Parlor was born April 1, 1936. She departed from this earthly life and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 25, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Gertie Holman. She was raised in Norway, SC and received her education from Norfield School. She worked as a housekeeper and later became employed by Talley Corbett Box Company for more than twenty years.

Fannie began her Christian life as a member of Bushy Pond Baptist Church. She later joined Macedonia Baptist Church and remained a faithful member until her health declined. She also shared her love for the Lord in fellowship at New Beginning United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Gertie Holman, one son, Jackie T. Holman, one daughter, Belinda Johnson and five siblings, Dorothy Alston, Hennrietta James, Mary Mayers, Esther Downings and Henry Holman.

She leaves to cherish fond memories one sister, Rebecca (Cecil) Rowe of Norway, SC; three daughters, Shirley Tyler of Aiken, SC, Glynda Youmans of Beamont, TX and Joyce Copeland of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Shawndra Holman Williams (John) of Conway, SC, Jackie L. Holman (Victoria) of Aiken, SC, Earl Youmans (Lawanda) of Houton, TX, Kendra Youmans of Beamont, TX, Johnathan Williams of Spartanburg, SC, Latasie Williams-Capers of Savannah, GA, Ashton Johnson of York, SC; a daughter-in-law, Brenda J. Holman of Aiken, SC;  a special niece, Barbara Inabinet and one godchild, Tacarra Inabinet. She also leaves a devoted life partner, Thomas James and his beloved children Robert (Rosalyn) James, Thomas James Jr. (Von) and Bernard James (Luemisher), a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She will always be remembered as a great cook and with a sweet and loving spirit.
