Floyd Robinson was the son of the late Frank Robinson, Jr. and Helen Williams Robinson, born on August 20, 1947 in Bamberg, SC. He was called to eternal rest on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.

Floyd was educated in the public school of Bamberg County, SC and served in the United States National Guard.

At an early age, he joined Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. Afetr uniting in Holy Matrimony to Ethel Williams Robinson, he joined Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Floyd was a past Member of the Trustee Board, United Methodist Men, and the Senior Choir.

He leaves to cherish precious memories his loving wife of 20 years, Ethel Williams Robinson; one son, Terrance Robinson of Columbia, SC; one sister, Helen (Sammie) Bamberg of Bamberg, SC; two brothers, Stanley (Jackie) Robinson of Bamberg, SC and Jackie (Melody) Robinson of Greenville, SC; one uncle, Henry (Sylvia) Robinson of Bamberg, SC; one aunt, Christina Robinson of Bamberg, SC; five sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; three step-daughters; five step-sons; and a host of grands, great grands, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
