Mr. Frank Allen Broughton, son of the late Mr. Luther Elvin and Mrs. Emma Lee Broughton, was born on December 23, 1962 in Bamberg, South Carolina. On Sunday, February 24, 2024, Frank was called to rest at the Barnwell/Bamberg Emergency (RMC) in Denmark, South Carolina.

Frank was educated in the Bamberg public school system.  He was employed by Campbell Produce in Barnwell, SC and also did construction work for his brother, Charlie Broughton.

Frank was a member of Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ.  He served as an usher.

Frank was married to Shirley Ann Broughton and this union was blessed with one daughter, Francine Broughton and step-children.

Frank was a faithful, devoted husband.  He was a kind, quiet, humble man.  A man of few words, he loved his family very much.

Frank was preceded in death by:  his father, Luther Elvin Broughton, Sr.; his mother, Emma Lee Broughton; a brother, Luther Broughton, Jr.; a nephew, David Lee Jones III and a niece, Brenda Denise Smalls.

Frank leaves to cherish his beloved memories:  his wife, Shirley Ann Broughton; his daughter, Francine Broughton (Tut Guinyard); his step-children, Keith Floyd, Garry Floyd, Michelle Floyd, Jermaine Floyd and D. C. Smalls; grandchildren, Zariah James, Taylor Shiggs, Braylin Broughton, Haisley Guinyard, Paris Bradley, Zadia Worthy, Garry Floyd,and Jakolby Akins; great-grands, Zachary Staley, Terry Staley, Zamora Akins, Brando Johnson, Zander Worthy, Ava Bradley, Gracey Floyd, Bryson Floyd and Braiden Floyd, all from Barnwell, SC; devoted sisters, Brenda Lee Broughton Jones of Denmark, SC and Linda (Bernard) Smoakes of Williston, SC; brothers, Roger (Connie) Broughton of Williston, SC and Charlie (Shelia)  Broughton of Blackville, SC as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
