Frank L. Ritter was born on September 14, 1944 in Ehrhardt, South Carolina to the late Chester and Ruth Ritter. He transitioned on October 10, 2022.

Frank spent his younger years in South Carlina, but then relocated to New York. He then met his wife, Flora Mae Steward in 1964 and they were married in 1965. The following year they had their son, Frankie Ritter who preceded him in death. Frank was employed with Metro North communal railroad for 27 years and retired in 2006 and then relocated to Orangeburg, South Carolina. Frank was always known to be a hardworking and loving man who loved to sing, dance and be the life of the party. He is preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Flora Mae Ritter; children, Sharon and Crystal Rhem; granddaughters, Vaneisha M. Ritter and Maya V. Ritter; sisters, Dorothy Ritter and Patricia Ritter; brothers, James Odom, George (Renee) Ritter, Ronald (Beth) Ritter, Kenneth Ritter, Andrew (Kim) Ritter, and Darryl Ritter and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
