Funeral services for the late Frank P. Saxon will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Paul Baptist Church, Orangeburg, SC. Rev. Charcey Priester, Sr. will officiate. Frank Phillip Saxon, son of the late Clarence and Rosa Lee Saxon was born on July 26, 1951 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He departed his life on September 9, 2015 at the Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg, South Carolina, following a brief illness. Frank was educated in the public school system in Orangeburg and enjoyed playing drums on the band. He was employed at Lenair Wolfe for over five years and RC Bottling Company. On January 23, 2015, Frank turned his life over to the Lord and was baptized. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church and attended all programs at the church regularly. He was a loving person and never met a stranger. He loved his family to include his nieces, nephews and cousins and he gave everyone of them a nickname. Cherishing Frank's precious memories are his sister, Deborah (Leon) Bradley of Atlanta, Georgia; two brothers, Willie (Eloise) Dash of Baltimore, Maryland and Jacob (Flossie) Brown of Orangeburg, South Carolina; a special friend, Gloria Walley- Saxon; many friends that loved him, Charles Zeigler, Alvin "Zip" Zeigler, Adam "Frog" Felder, Harry "Pee Wee" Johnson, Wallace Young, Rosena "Coot" Cobb, Johnnie "Grady" Hampton, Charles "Wompa" Felder, Kenny "Knob" Felder, Nate, Mutt and Robert Brown and Melvin "Low" Knotts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving friends. The family is extremely grateful for the many hours of care that was rendered by Jacob Brown, Flossie Brown, Carolyn Bradley and Sharon Taylor. You all gave unconditional love and your time during Frank's brief illness. We also extend a special thanks to the Medical University of South Carolina and the Regional Medical Center's medical staff.
