There are only a few people who distinguish themselves and impact
our lives in a very special way. GEORGE STANLEY
JONES uniquely displayed his lively, spirited, outgoing,
yet loving disposition very well. He took purpose every-
where he went and made himself known to all who
came to know and love him.

To this end, we celebrate the life of our beloved
son, father, brother, nephew, cousin and cherished
friend who was born January 27, 1985 to Stephanie
Jones Bonds and George Bonds, in Bronx, New York.
He was raised in New York for 13 years before relocating
to Blackville, South Carolina where he attended Blackville-Hilda High
School.
Seeking God's direction and guidance, at an early age, ''GEE'' as
he was affectionately known, joined and became a baptized member
of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Blackville, South Carolina.
He was employed for many years at Augusta Fiber Glass in
Blackville, South Carolina until his health begin to decline.
When our Heavenly Father was on His journey, He chose precious
angels to be placed on this earth. Today, one of his angels will be
laid to rest. On Tuesday morning, May 10, 2022, George Stanley
Jones closed the curtain on this journey called life and entered into
peaceful rest. His transition was made easy because his loving mother
was by his side.
He is preceded in death and now resting with his maternal grandpar-
ents, Mr. Johnnie Jones and Mrs. Ida Louise Copeland Jones and one
nephew, Alex Cecil Chavis, all of whom he held close to his heart.
Imagine them, waiting on him with open arms!
Those remaining to celebrate his life, mourn his departure and
cherish fond memories are: his loving and devoted mother, Stephanie
Jones Bonds of the home; his step-father, Edward Ortiz; two handsome
sons, Malik Jones and Kason Jamerson; three sisters, Sharell Jones
Chavis (Cecil), Jalessa Bonds and Chanise Tyshana Johnson; three
brothers, Johnanthan Ortiz (Kera), Michael Walker and Cornelius
Blake, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many
sorrowing friends that will miss him dearly.
The family would also like to give a special thanks to Michael
"Mike" Walker, Cornelius Quientin Blake, Willie Mae Smalls and Rena Hammonds.
