Ms. Georgia Bell Johnson, daughter of the late Leon and Adell Murdock, was born on October 24, 1934 in Bamberg County, South Carolina. She entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. At an early age, she joined Bethel United Methodist Church, Bamberg, South Carolina. She was a housewife and loved to babysit children. She is preceded in death by her husband and three children. Georgia Bell leaves to cherish fond memories - one son, James Allen Murdock (Sue) of Martin, South Carolina; two daughters: Elizabeth Johnson, and Willie Dell Johnson both of Bamberg, South Carolina; two sisters: Juanita (Charles Yard) of Bamberg, South Carolina and New York, and Ms. Dorothy (Nathanial) Washington of York, Pennsylvania; two brothers: Mr. Franklin Bamberg and Mr. Charles Kizer both of Bamberg, South Carolina; one daughter-in-law, Ms. Carolyn Murdock of Springfield, South Carolina; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and four special people: Minister Shellie Stewart, Ms. Brenda Dowling, Ms. Mary Moody and Ms. Hazel Darby. Viewing for the public will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 am -8:00 pm at the funeral home. Friends may call at the residence and at the funeral home.
