Funeral services for the late Gladys Berry will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11:00 am at Andrew Chapel Baptist Church.  Interment services will follow immediately at the church cemetery.  Viewing for the public will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 noon- 8:00 pm at the funeral home.




Gladys Berry was granted her angel wings on April 9, 2016 after an extended illness.

Gladys is the daughter of Marie Berry and the late Eugene Berry and was born on September 7, 1941. Gladys was reared in the home of her maternal grandmother; Ms. Mazurie Berry. Gladys joined Andrew Chapel Baptist Church at an early age. She graduated from Bethune Memorial High School.  Later in life, Gladys attended Miracle Faith Temple where she served as a Missionary.

Gladys was employed as a seamstress for Jeansville Manufacturing Company.  Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing, love and faith. Gladys married Robert Felks and to this union, three children were born.

A sister, Vera White and stepfather, J. C. Clark preceded her in death.

Gladys is survived by her loving mother, Marie Clark; one son: Conrad (Stephanie) Felks; two daughters, Valencia Maria Felks and Bobbie F. (Daryl) Anderson; two sisters, Kay C. (George) Dantzler, Joyce B. Riley; two brothers, Freddie (Angela) Clark and William "Bo" Clark; one brother-in-law, Eddie White Jr.; four grandsons Prince, Elijah, Conrad "C.J." and Javian; three granddaughters, Gabrielle Anderson, Tabitha, and Fantasia Felks; three great-grandsons, Prince Felks, KeShawn Daniels, Jaeceon Felks; three aunts, George Anna Elliot, Inez B. Pauling and Carrie L. Berry; one uncle, Lou i s Berry; one goddaughter, Rose B. Goodwin;  one godson, Andrew Elliott; a host of other relatives and friends.
