Funeral services for the late Mrs. Isabella D. Ford will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at Trinity United Methodist Church, 185 Boulevard St., Orangeburg, SC. Rev. Mack McClam will officiate. The family invites friends to view at Dash's Funeral Home Chapel (Orangeburg) on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 12:00 noon - 8:00 pm. The family will greet friends from 6:00- 8:00 pm. Isabella D. Ford is the seventh sibling of the late James Floyd and Isabella M Davis. She was born and reared in Dillon, South Carolina, where she received her elementary and high school education at Dillon Colored High School, Dillon, South Carolina. She furthered her education upon moving to Trenton, New Jersey where she attended Thomas Edison State College and Rider University, College for Business, Trenton , New Jersey. Isabella completed further studies earning a B.A. Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in office management. She was employed by the State of New Jersey Department of Institutions and Agencies for eleven years. Isabella was promoted and transferred to the Department of Labor as Officer Manager for the Office of Occupational Safety and Health Consultation Services, (OSHA), Trenton office, where she worked for twenty-three years and a total of thirty-four years service in state government. She completed her managerial studies at the OSHA Institute Chicago, Illinois and OSHA Institute of Fairfax, Virginia. Isabella leaves to mourn four children, Linda ( Dr. Carroll) Gee of Kembridge Virginia, Gail ( Reverend Sam W.) Richardson of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Kenny (Josephine) Ford Newark, New Jersey and Martin Kenny Ford, Orlando Florida; three step-children, Sheryl Fliming, Tracy Flimming and Kimberly Fliming of New Brunswick, New Jersey; five grandchildren, Sam ( Brittany) Richardson of Fayetteville, Georgia, Dr. Arena-Richardson ( Cory) Jackson, Atlanta Georgia, Joshua Ford, Rebecca Ford,Newark, New Jersey and Jamal Ford of Greenville, South Carolina; one great-grandson, Samuel Khi Richardson, Fayettville, Georgia, one sister, Dr. Ruby T. Davis, Orangeburg, South Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Laura Jean Ford, Summerset New Jersey and Mary M. Davis of Lithonia, Georgia; two brothers-in-law, Dennis Ford and Michael Ford of New Brunswick, New Jersey, one uncle, Howard Ford of New York City; one given daughter, Tammy B. Cleckly, Orangeburg, South Carolina; three given sons, Bishop Willie Jones, Reverend Larry D. McCutcheon and Rev. Mack McClam; three special friends that are so dear to her, Mrs. Stella Jones, Trenton, New Jersey, Mrs. Patricia B. Lott and Mrs. Freddie O'Bryant of Orangeburg, South Carolina and a host of nieces , nephews, and cousins from, South Carolina, Newark New Jersey, New Brunswick, New Jersey and Trenton, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 185 Boulevard St., Orangeburg, SC and/ or The American Cancer Society.
