Mr. Bennett was born on June 14, 1940 to the late Nertha Mae Holman and Isaac Bennett, Sr. in Bamberg County. He was a member of Honey Ford Baptist Church located in Denmark, SC.
Mr. Bennett is preceded in death by his daughter, Pam Gaines; a son, Jeffrey Bennett and a sister, Elizabeth Dickerson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving Queen; one son, Jerome (Tammy) Roberts of Hemet, California; one brother, Odell Bennett of Bronx, NY; a sister/ cousin, Hannah Priester of Varnville, SC; twenty grandchildren; great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing for the public will be held on Friday from 12:00 noon- 8:00 pm , with a wake scheduled from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Riley's Funeral Home in Hampton, SC.
