JaColby D. Brown was born August 18, 1998 to Daniel L.
Brown and Lillian R. Salley Brown. On Wednesday, August 4,
2021, JaColby entered into eternal rest following an automobile
accident.
JaColby was a 2017 graduate of Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School
where he played on the football team. After graduation he furthered his education at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College. He
received an Associate's Degree in General Technologies (Welding) and
two Special Welding Certifications on May 10, 2021.
At an early age, JaColby joined McCune Branch Baptist Church where he attended Sunday School
and sang in the Youth Choir.
JaColby would wear a smile that would light up an entire room that was full of darkness. He loved
to play football, fish, and was very much in love with his 1987 white box Chevy. JaColby had a vision of
owning his own welding business one day. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan.
JaColby was preceded in death by a set of grandparents, Sterling Brown, Sr. and Lina Mae Lewis
Brown; grandfather, James E. Salley, Jr.; four uncles; two great-uncles and one great- aunt.
JaColby leaves to cherish his loving memory: his loving and devoted parents, Daniel and Lillian
R. Brown of Bamberg, SC; one sister, Porcelain Brown (Mark Grimes); grandmother and step-grandfather,
Lilla S. Thames and Henry Thames all of Bamberg, SC; six aunts and five uncles, Frances (Roy) Beard,
Cynthia (Morris) Bradley and Clifford Brown, Sr., all of Bamberg, SC, Alma Brown of Greer, SC, Dwayne
(Effie) Brown of Spartanburg, SC, Larry Brown of Charlotte, NC, Amanda Robinson Brown of Columbia,
SC, Mildred Mayes Brown of Aiken, SC; a couple that was
like an aunt and uncle, Maxine M. (Terry) Middleton of
Cordova, SC; two great-aunts, Josephine Grimes Caldwell of
Denmark, SC and Janice (Woodrow) Sherman of Bamberg,
SC; two great-uncles, John Lewis of Columbia, SC and Floyd Lewis of Denmark, SC.
